Everyone is pleased to receive congratulations, gifts and, of course, Valentine's Day on Valentine's Day! Now you can see many of the most diverse valentines. What these congratulatory hearts are made of: paper, cardboard, wood, glass ... A rather interesting valentine card comes from salt dough.
Materials and tools:
• acrylic paints, brush;
• flour, salt, water (for dough);
• a small bowl;
• PVA glue;
• adhesive strong fixation;
• rolling pin;
• toothpicks;
• beads;
• golden thread;
• stick for barbecue;
• cookie cutters;
• scissors.

1. Cooking salty dough for valentines. To prepare it, you will need salt, flour, water and glue. In a bowl, mix 50 grams of salt and 50 grams of flour. Mixing thoroughly, add 70 g of water and knead again until smooth. Then add half a teaspoon of PVA glue, mix. The dough should be elastic and cool, and most importantly - do not stick to your hands and not crumble. Otherwise, it will break and fall apart at work.

2. Using a rolling pin, thinly roll out the dough, with a thickness of about 2-3 millimeters. Cut two hearts of unequal size. To cut out a heart, you can use metal molds for cookies or make a template out of paper and circle it.

3. We put the hearts on top of each other, align and make a through hole with a chopstick (match). We need it to connect the two parts

4. While laying aside a smaller heart. On the larger, we make two holes with a stick. These are the eyes. Next, lightly press a teaspoon at the bottom of the heart to make a smile. A funny face came out!

5. Now you need to dry the heart. It is best if they dry naturally, that is, Valentines from salt dough will completely dry over night. There is another way to dry salted dough products. You can dry them in the oven. Put in the oven for about an hour, then stretch it out and let it dry for 2 hours. Then for another hour in the oven, laying on the other side. After drying, salt crystals are clearly visible on the test.

6. Proceed to decorate the hearts. For this we use acrylic paints. We paint the larger heart in white, and the smaller one in light purple.

7. After drying the paint, on a white heart draw eyes, mouth. Leave to dry completely.

8. We wait until the heart, painted with purple paint, dries. Then we write Love and draw another little heart.

9. The next step in decorating valentines is gluing golden beads. Glue them along the edge of a large heart, using a strong fix adhesive. We also stick on a small heart.

9. Now you need to connect the two hearts. A hole has been made in both parts for this action. We pass the golden thread and knit on several knots. You can on the bow.
