A simple to manufacture, but very effective necklace made of beads can be made using beads selected in tone or contrast, the main condition is to choose the size of the beads in such a way that the result is a smooth semicircle without distortion and curvature. To do this, we will have to weave a test sample. The work uses Japanese Matsuno and Toho beads, crystal and garnet beads, thin needles for Miyuki beads, a thread for beadwork. You will also need scissors, wax and very convenient sorting triangular plates - plastic or metal.

When selecting beads tone by tone, smooth overflows of color are obtained, and if different sizes of beads are chosen in bright contrasting colors, the necklace will look like a rainbow. Magatama can be replaced with drop-shaped beads, pendants or even bugles, the main thing is to observe the gradual transition of the sizes of beads or beads and the product should look harmonious, and not a "patchwork quilt".
In the work used:
1. Small beads (No. 15) - rainbow purple.
2. Medium beads (No. 11) - dark purple.
3. Octagonal beads (cabin) - “twinkle” matt silver.
4. Cylindrical beads (cabin) - “twinkle” silver.
5.Magatama (drop-shaped beads) - transparent.
6. Beads crystal opaque violet and a focus bead from pomegranate.
The work is carried out by mosaic weaving and consists of 8 crescent elements. The size of the crescent depends on the volume of the neck and is calculated for a particular product. For our necklace, we collect 28 beads on a strong thin thread with small rainbow purple beads and 2 rows of weaving.

Add 2 more rows with large purple beads.

The next stage is the addition of one row of silver matte “twinkle”, then a row of large purple beads and another row of silver matte.

The final stage - 2 rows of silver "light" and 1 row of magatama. After weaving, we go through the last row in the opposite direction to fix the thread. The remaining threads are not cut short so that they can be discreetly hidden in weaving.

We lay out the resulting 8 elements in the shape of a necklace.

We place beads between the crescents.

We sew together the resulting parts of the necklace, aligning the shape. You can connect and decorate the resulting parts arbitrarily, simply by connecting with a chain of beads or creating curly shapes with protrusions, teeth or even a fringe - here you can show imagination and an individual approach. All the sticking strings are carefully hidden in weaving. We sew a lock, suitable in shape and color to the necklace. We check the correctness of the form and the absence of errors. Everything - the product is ready! Wear to health!

Such a necklace can serve as the basis for many options, beads, for example, can be replaced with braided cabochons, instead of a focal bead in the center of the necklace, make a large insert or connect the crescent elements with chains of strung beads. Unleash your creative imagination and create your own options!
