After Easter, all Christians prepare for the bright day of Radonitsa. On this day, painted eggs and cakes are left on the graves of deceased relatives. In addition, they leave any gifts and flowers - living or artificial. But you can decorate the graves in another way - a memorial ribbon. Any woman can do it with her own hands, at least a little knowledge of the art of cross stitching.
To make the tape you need:
• Ritual tape 1.5 - 2 meters long and about 20 cm wide. You can buy it in a ritual or regular store in the "Fabrics" section. If you can’t buy the finished tape, you can replace it with a regular curtain fabric, cut into wide strips and cut the edges.

• Large canvas.
• Thread floss.
• Needle for embroidery.
• Hoop.
• Scissors.
We prepare embroidery. To do this, you need to choose an Easter embroidery pattern.

Schemes can be selected and others. To make it easier to follow the pattern, apply 10 x 10 cells to the canvas with bright threads.

To make the embroidery stand out on a white background of the ribbon, the threads for it should be chosen bright. If the threads are light in the pattern, you can make a replacement yourself.
Embroider a pattern. This pattern will be attached to 1 end of the tape. The edges of the canvas do not need to be processed. You can even stretch 10 to 12 extreme threads, making the edges terry.
For the other end, embroider a cross according to the pattern.

To make the cross look brighter and more spectacular, the middle of it can be embroidered with a yellow thread with lurex, and sewn around the edges with ordinary yellow threads a tone or 2 higher. On this embroidery, the edges can also be brandished.

Iron the embroidered blanks, place on both ends of the tape and sew them carefully, masking the ends of the threads.
The ribbon will be an excellent decoration for the graves of loved ones. This is a great alternative to the usual artificial flowers. It can be tied to a cross or a monument. She will not be blown away by the wind and will not be washed away by the rain.
