Such an elastic band is suitable for a little girl to her beautiful outfits, and for an adult girl. You can decorate hair with a flower in such strict colors to school or office.
For creativity, we need:
- satin ribbons: two colors 5 cm wide and two more colors 4 cm wide;
- cautery on wood;
- glass as a working panel;
- metal ruler;
- tweezers;
- hot glue (gun with rods);
- a needle with a thread;
- a beautiful rhinestone in the middle of the flower;
- scrunchy.
When harvesting satin ribbons, you need to take into account that the colors will fall alternately, light and dark tones, so wide ribbons (5cm) should be light and saturated in tone, ribbons already (4cm) similarly - light and dark.

We cut the ribbons into squares of 5 by 5 cm and 4 by 4 cm. The number of blanks is equal to the number of petals, and there are eight of them, which means all colors are 8 squares each. From a light tape of 4 cm, cut another 8 blanks for inserts between the petals.

For a beautiful petal, you must follow the contrast rule.

Let's start making the petal. To do this, bend a larger square of light tone diagonally, as shown in the photo.

Then, bend it again. You should get an equilateral triangle.

We perform similar actions with a brown blank, which is 5 by 5 cm in size. Put it on top of the first triangle.

Then we take the light blank with a smaller size, and form a triangle. Apply it to the first two layers. The distance between the indentation of the triangles should not be more than a millimeter.

We do the same with the last square, the most saturated in color. It is this color that accentuates the flower.

Once again, check the distance between the layers and firmly fix.

We bend our workpiece exactly in the center.

We cut off the base of the petal and its bottom with a very hot burner. In all manipulations, the folded petal is held tightly with a metal ruler. We make eight such petals.

This is exactly what the cut line should be. If the line is uneven, then the petals in the flower will not fit correctly.

Now we proceed to the formation of a single-layer petal for inserts. Fold the 4x4 square diagonally and bend the edges to the middle of the base, as in the photo.

Bend it in half.

We cut the base with a burner, it should turn into such a petal.

The petals are ready and proceed to assembly.

Sew a string of eight multilayer petals into one flower.

Glue a circle of satin ribbon, 2 cm in diameter, to the base of the flower. Now we glue the one-color petal between the multi-tiered petals. Use hot glue, it will securely fix all parts of the product.

Choosing the middle, you can measure many options. It’s hard in advance to guess which middle is perfect.

Using glue, fix the middle in the center of the flower. Use tweezers, then the movements will be more accurate and the flower will not get dirty with glue.
