My five-year-old granddaughter watched a cartoon about the Indians and she really liked the hero. I decided to give her a present and sewed an Indian doll. She was thrilled. Now this is her favorite doll.

It is sewn easily. To do this, transfer the patterns to the fabric, increasing them to the desired size. I made of fleece, but a small doll looks like a snowman’s child, very unusual. Therefore, I recommend making a doll from linen or cotton.

Sew the parts and twist them. First stitch the head in the front, the three back parts of the head, and then the whole thing. Make small cuts in the arms and legs for stuffing, which will be sewn after filling. In the trunk, leave the top part not stitched.

Tightly fill the head of the Indian in the hole left below. The remaining parts do not have to be densely filled if you are sewing from fleece. The material holds its shape well and with a small amount of holofiber.

Using fingers, form fingers on the arms and legs. But even if you do not know how to do this, the boy will not become worse from this. Many craftswomen do not make weights, and the doll does not lose at all from this.

Sew your arms and legs to your torso and begin shaping your head.

For convenience, stick two safety pins at the side seams exactly in the middle. You can pull a thread along them to determine the places for sewing on button eyes. Embroider the cilia first, then sew the eyes. Make a nose and mouth.

This is a side view, we need to sew ears on the places of the pins.

Now is the time to start shaping the ears. Cut a small diameter 2 circles.

Gather a thread in a circle and tighten it. Fix the formed ears on the places of the pins.

This is the kind of boy you should get.

Take the torso and

sew to his head. It can be planted on a tube to keep it tight. But my granddaughter really likes the fact that she hangs and nods easily. And if she ever comes off, then sewing will not be difficult.

Now we sew the hairs, I would say, just a bunch. This is done like this: we wrap a few threads on three fingers, remove, tighten in the middle and sew on the crown. Then we straighten it in different directions, you can cut it.

We paint the cheeks with powder or colored pencil, after making pollen from a graphite rod.

In general, the boy is ready,

but we make an Indian! It’s not good for him to play toys!

From a multi-colored yarn of type grass we knit a loincloth.

Break off the threads and sew. The dressing is ready.

We dress her on a doll, give a spear and an amulet to her neck. The amulet is made like this: we put a coin of happiness on a thread, hang colored threads and cut it evenly. The spear consists of a pole (barbecue stick) and a bunch of the same colored threads. Now we wrap the yarn on two fingers, wrap the end of the bundle with thread and glue it. We also stick the shaft with glue and push it inside the wound end.

This is our Indian on vacation.

And he came from hunting and is surrounded by trophies. To make such an Indian not for long, the toy is pleasant to the touch, the arms and legs are soft, become in any position. My granddaughter enjoys playing and running, hooting. Give joy to your child too!
