A valentine in the form of a paper heart with declarations of love is banal and unromantic. Love pictures look much more interesting. They can be depicted seals, birds, butterflies and even giraffes. Do not be surprised, lovers of giraffes look very cute.
Using this workshop, try to make bright felt giraffes located under a tree of hearts. Interesting? Then rather, collect the following materials and tools:

- pieces of felt pink and yellow shades;
- a little sintepon or cotton;
- a needle and bright threads;
- image of a giraffe;
- packaging of color cardboard;
- a ruler;
- scissors;
- 2 buttons;
- marker;
- a small magnet;
- double sided tape;
- thermal gun.

First choose the right pattern. You can find on the Internet the section "Coloring for Children" and pick up a beautiful image of a giraffe no more than 10 cm high.

From pink and yellow felt, cut 2 identical parts on a stencil.

Sew the two halves with bright stitching seams with loops. For example, for a yellow giraffe, you can choose a green thread. Do not forget to leave a small hole through which the figure of the animal can be filled with padding polyester or cotton wool.

You do not need to shove too much syntepon; a small amount is enough to create volume.

Use the blue or red thread to staple pink parts.

This is how giraffes look, filled with padding polyester and fully lined with thread.

It remains only to "revive" our animals. Sew horns, ears and a tail of felt in a contrasting shade. The nose can be made from a small button, and draw eyes with a marker. It turns out such funny giraffes.

Now you need to make the basis for the picture with the frame.
Cut a green square with a side of 21 cm, as well as 4 blue stripes measuring 3 cm by 25 cm.

Glue each strip along the edge of the square using double-sided tape to make a frame for the base.

From red colored cardboard, cut a small strip and many miniature hearts of different sizes.

Glue all these details in the center of the picture. It turns out a tree with hearts.

Decorate the blue frame with yellow stripes and hearts.

Glue giraffes under the tree so that they look at each other.

The painting "Lovers of Giraffes" is ready.

It looks unusual and will surely appeal to someone to whom you present it on St. Valentine

If you have no desire to mess around with cardboard and cut out all the details for the picture, then at the initial stage of work, your giraffes can turn into a fridge magnet.
Sew a blue heart from blue felt according to the same principle as giraffes.
Glue a small round magnet onto it with hot melt adhesive.
