What could be nicer than soaking in a hot bath after a difficult, exhausting day. Especially if you add foam, special sea salt, essential oils to it. Many people also use mineral bath bombs, which not only relax, but also give the skin velvety, smoothness and a special, hardly perceptible fragrant aroma.
Such bombs are in stores expensive enough to constantly use them, but they can be successfully done independently, choosing the ingredients and aromas to your taste. For their manufacture, nothing special is needed, everything can be found at home in the kitchen and in the bathroom. But if you want some special aroma, then you can buy it in a pharmacy. Now there is a wide selection of essential oils on sale.
Materials and tools:
• non-metallic container for mixing;
• a tablespoon to measure the ingredients;
• mold. You can take a ball from table tennis and cut it in half, you can take an egg left from a kinder surprise, or you can also take a regular children's sand pascha;
• packaging film made of polyethylene, if the bomb is not used immediately after preparation;
• 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate (drinking soda);
• 3 tbsp. tablespoons of filler. It can be milk powder, ground oatmeal, cosmetic clay, or anything else of your choice.
• 2 tbsp. tablespoons of citric acid;
• 3 tbsp. tablespoons of olive or other oil;
• 30 drops of essential oil. You can take any that you like, you can even mix several oils, but always combined with each other.
Measure with a spoon soda, filler and citric acid. In our case, cosmetic pink clay was taken as a filler. Mix the dry ingredients well and add oil to this mixture. First olive, then ethereal. We took 2 types of oil: 15 drops of almond and ylang-ylang. Almond oil works well on the skin, and ylang-ylang is a great antidepressant and aphrodisiac.
We mix very well with our fingers so that there are no lumps. You should get a mixture that resembles shortbread dough. Then we fill the mold very tightly with the mixture, constantly tamping. The mold can be pre-greased with olive oil so that it is more convenient to take out the finished bomb.
Leave for several hours to dry the bomb. Then carefully remove it from the mold. If you use the bomb later, you can wrap it in plastic wrap.
