In this review, the author shows how to make a compact sawing machine for a home workshop from a grinder (angle grinder).
Of the basic materials, pieces of sheet metal, pieces of a corner and a profile pipe, as well as bolts with wing nuts will be required.
The first step is to cut off two blanks from a sheet of metal.
It is necessary to weld the workpieces together using two plates, leaving a small gap between them for the saw blade. The result is a circular desktop.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, you need to weld a piece of profile to the table, and to it perpendicularly - a plate that will press the grinder.
In the plate itself, it is necessary to pre-drill a hole for the bolt in order to fix the angle grinder.
Next, the author cuts four pieces of a building corner and welds them along the edges of the working table.
At the last stage, it remains only to make two grooves for the parallel emphasis, in which the author uses a piece of a profile pipe.
We grind all the details (if necessary, paint), after which we can proceed to assembly.
