In this review, the wizard shows how to make a simple and easy-to-use tool for cleaning the chimney in a private house, in the country or in the garage.
To make homemade products you will need a piece of a profile pipe, part of a dumbbell, a metal brush, a piece of pipe and a steel cable.
First of all, cut off part of the dumbbell. Then we weld to it half of the ring from a metal pipe.
Next, we attach a metal brush to the sinker. To do this, you can use a chain link or make a link from a piece of wire.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author cuts a piece of a profile pipe and welds a piece of a round tube to it. It must first be bent.
Cut two blanks from a metal strip, insert between them a small piece of metal of the same thickness, and then scald. The resulting part is welded to the profile pipe.
Through a round tube we pass a steel cable of the required length. We fix one edge to the brush.
The homemade product is ready - now you can try it in work. The profile is attached to the top of the chimney, after which, using a cable, lower and raise the brush.
