For cafes, small pubs, bars or restaurants, the bar counter is an integral element of the interior.

However, today small bar counters are quite often installed in a private house, where, as you know, kitchens are much more spacious than in apartments.

In this review, the author shows how to make a bar counter for a house from a profile pipe and boards (wooden lining).

We also recommend reading: how to make a cool chair with a footrest: from a profile pipe.

Fabrication of a metal frame

The first step will be to cut the size of the workpiece from the profile pipe. We weld a rectangular frame (frame of the front wall).

Then, from profile pipes, the author welds two U-shaped blanks.

We weld the side walls to the front of the frame, and connect them with a jumper in the upper part.

On the sides of the front and side frames, the author welds pieces of a metal strip and drills holes in them (the casing will be attached to them).

We clean the finished frame from profile pipes with a grinder with a petal circle and paint.

Metal frame cladding

At the next stage, we saw off the size of a wooden lining (boards that have a spike and a groove for joining each other).

After this, we proceed directly to the skin of the metal frame.
