With the onset of warm days, the soul requires a holiday, and therefore many people go to their summer cottages to fry meat on fire and relax.
And for such gatherings in the open air, a barbecue grill is very useful. In this review, the wizard shows how you can make a mobile barbecue grill on wheels with a lifting mechanism for the grill.
First of all, you need to cut off the four corners, and weld them together to make a frame that is the size of the lattice itself.
The main stages of work
At the next stage, three workpieces need to be cut from the profile pipe: two racks and one jumper. We weld them with each other, and then weld them to the frame for the lattice.
Next, in the form of a frame from a sheet of metal 4-5 mm thick, cut a square. And in it in the center we cut out a square "window".
After that, the author welds the sides of the metal strip along the contour of the frame. And on the contour of the square “window” on three sides you need to weld three plates with a small gap.
Then from the round pipes it will be necessary to weld the frame. A frame with a grill is welded to the top, and under it is a drip tray. The wheels must be welded to the bottom of the frame.
The author welds handles from a bent pipe to the sides of the frame, and also at this stage it will be necessary to make and install a lifting mechanism for the grill on which the meat will be grilled.
