Hot forging of metal at home is becoming increasingly popular - it is not surprising, because forged products not only look exquisite, but are also very highly valued.
If you decide to try your hand at blacksmithing, then, in addition to the anvil and hammer, you will also need a blacksmith's forge. That's just because of the high cost of factory equipment, not everyone can afford to buy it.
However, to work with small workpieces at first it is quite possible to do with a homemade blacksmithing mini-forge. You can make it from a can of paint.
The main stages of work
First of all, it is necessary to drill holes for the legs on which the gas horn will stand. Then the master, using a metal bit, drills a hole in the can for a gas burner.
As horn legs, long bolts are used. In total, four bolts, eight washers and the same number of nuts will be required.
At the next stage, the master drills holes and screws an aluminum handle to the can. It is needed for the convenience of transporting a mini bugle.
Then it remains only to fill the jar with sand-gypsum mortar, inserting a can or a piece of plastic pipe inside it. After setting the solution, the can will need to be pulled out.
