The author of this homemade product decided to make his life as easy as possible by making a carriage with guides for a manual circular. The design is set in motion thanks to an automatic drive, which is played by 12V electric motors.

The feasibility of manufacturing this design, of course, remains a big question. However, we will talk about the shortcomings at the end of the article. Now we want to briefly tell you how and from what the author makes this homemade product.

So, for an automatic carriage for a hand-held circular saw, a pair of long studs, bearings, nuts, clamps with a clamp and blanks from plywood are required. As you can see, the materials are quite affordable, so you can call the budget design, in principle, possible.

The main stages of work

The first step in making plywood is to make a foundation. Then you need to cut and glue four identical workpieces, in which then, with some offset from the center, the holes are drilled.

In these holes, the master presses in two bearings. The resulting blanks are installed on the edges of the base.

Long studs with nuts already screwed onto them are inserted into the holes in the bearings. After that, the author makes a plywood platform for manual circulars, and fastens it to the guides.

At the last stage, the electric motors are installed and connected to the battery, as well as the installation of the controller and the power button.

In general, homemade is simple. But it doesn’t make much sense - well, at least in this version of the assembly for sure. Saw jumps, skewed. You can’t make a qualitative cut.
