To quickly "dissolve" a plastic bottle or eggplant on a thin fishing line, which can then be used for various household purposes, you will need a bottle cutter. Moreover, this simple device can be easily made from improvised means without using a power tool.

As the main material, a small segment of the aluminum corner is suitable, which will need to be cut to size and drilled in several places. This will require metal scissors, as well as screws with a drill, a screwdriver and a drill. Aluminum is a malleable and soft material, so it can be easily drilled manually.

Step-by-step process for making a bottle cutter

In the aluminum corner we make a small cutout with metal scissors, after which it will be necessary to drill four holes for the M5 bolts. Of course, if an electric drill or screwdriver is available, you can drill holes much faster and without unnecessary gestures, just in this case we consider the option of making a bottle cutter from improvised means.

Using a hacksaw blade for metal, it is necessary to make a shallow cut, and then bend the corner in this place. Then, with the help of two bolts with nuts, we press the clerical blade to the opposite wall of the corner.

It is necessary to make two "guides" from rigid steel wire (in horizontal and vertical planes) so that the bottle or eggplant is in the required position — at the right angle — while cutting the line. You can see a detailed review of the homemade bottle cutter in the video on the site.
