Using a car bottle jack and some other materials made of metal, the master makes a powerful bearing puller.
Such a puller can be useful in cases where you need to carefully remove the bearings from the shaft of large electric motors.
First, we disassemble the car jack. Then we clean the paint on the body (in those places where there will be welding).
The main stages of work
At the next stage, we weld three steel plates with drilled holes to the body.
They must be welded at the same distance from each other. We weld seams with a petal disk.
After completing the welding work, the master proceeds with the assembly of the automobile bottle jack (in the reverse order).
The author makes three hooks of metal, which then fastens to the plates welded to the jack.
Actually, this process of making homemade products can be considered completed. Now, using the power of the bottle jack, it will be much easier to remove the bearings from the shaft.
