To make a brutal knife with our own hands, we will use an old thick metal wrench. We cut one part of the key with a grinder a little at an angle, and leave the second head with a pharynx - we will make it part of the knife handle.
Next, we place the workpiece in the hearth, heat it to a red-cherry color, and then beat it off with a blacksmith hammer on the anvil, giving it the necessary shape. The main task at this stage is to form the blade and part of the handle. Do not touch the head with the throat.

After forging, we process the workpiece from a wrench on a belt grinder. First you need to align the faces, then grind the plane and make the edges of the blade. We periodically wet the workpiece in water so that it does not overheat from friction.
After the descent of the blade is fully formed, rough (rough) sharpening of the blade is performed on an emery or the same belt grinding machine. Then we heat the workpiece in the furnace to a bright red color and immerse it in a container with oil. This is a standard procedure that is carried out in the manufacture of any knives.
After hardening, the knife must be placed for some time in the oven. At the next stage, we make final grinding on a grinding machine and polish the surface of the blade. The result was a brutal knife with a rude "character". It is not distinguished by elaborate forms and elegance, but quite sharp and weighty - men will appreciate it!
