The main stages of work

Then, on a grinding machine or with the help of a grinding disc for angle grinders, we form the cutting edge of the scraper knife. Now you need to make pens. For this, any solid wood block will do. Cut off two handles, give them the desired shape. At the ends we drill holes for the bolts.
We wrap the handles on the bolts (it is advisable to lubricate them with glue in advance so that they do not become loose during operation), after which the home-made torsion bar can be used for peeling logs. Also, instead of wooden handles, you can use steel pipes with a diameter of ½ inch with a slant cut at an angle of 45 degrees.
