Heated floor electric
One of the reasons for the popularity of the electric floor is its ease of installation and further use. His work is that with the help of a heating element, electricity is converted into thermal energy. In other words, this process can be described as follows: current flows through an insulated electric cable and thermal energy is generated that promotes heating. Further, the heat from the heated electric cable passes into a concrete screed, which performs the function of a thermal heater for the front floor covering.
In the manufacture of electric floors, a special heating cable is used. The core of such a cable is made of the following materials: nichrome, brass, galvanized steel. The insulation of the cable used for electric floors can be made of several types of material: PVC, silicone rubber, cross-linked polyethylene, as well as fluoroplastic. In such a cable, the insulating layer can be four-layer, three-layer, as well as two-layer. The advantage of such insulation is the ability to withstand more than one hundred degrees.
To protect the insulation and core during installation, a shield is installed on the inner insulation. It is made of lead, aluminum foil, as well as steel and copper wire. The screen affects the reduction of electromagnetic radiation, as it performs the function of a grounding wire. In addition, the installation of a warm floor allows the use of a two-core cable, which is easy to lay. A thermostat is also attached to the electric floor, thanks to which the selected temperature is maintained. Moreover, a sensor is included in the electric floor kit, which, when mounted with a cable, is poured with concrete, having previously hidden them in a corrugated pipe.
Warm floor water
The most important and distinctive feature of the water floor is hot water, which acts as a coolant. It passes in polymer pipes under the floor itself. The work of this type of floor is that hot water circulates through pipes that are located under the screed.
Installation of an underfloor heating water includes the laying of heat-insulating material to minimize heat loss. Before the final stage of floor installation, it is necessary to check for leaks, if any. To do this, pump water into the system and maintain it for several hours under pressure that is above average. After the system is checked for leaks, it is poured with a concrete screed.
Installation of any type of underfloor heating in your bathroom will give much more comfort. With it, the room will always be warm, cozy and comfortable. After all, leaving the bath is much more pleasant to step on the warm floor than on the cold tile. The heat-insulated floor is safe, reliable, comfortable and will serve you for many years.
