In this review, the wizard shows how to bend a profile pipe (at an angle of 90 degrees), without using a bending machine.
You can do this with a simple template. As a pipe that needs to be bent, the author uses a rectangular section profile (size - 60x20 mm).
First, the author cuts out a quarter-circle pattern from paper. If you plan to use this method constantly, it is better to cut a metal template of the same shape.
After that, using a paper or metal template, the master makes a marking on the profile pipe (on both sides).
The main stages of work
At the next stage, according to the applied marking, it is necessary to cut out the unnecessary part from the profile pipe using a grinder. Only one 20 mm wall should remain in this place.
Then it will be necessary to cut another piece from the profile (on the opposite side), and also leave only a narrow wall.
After unnecessary pieces are cut out, the two side parts of the profile pipe can be freely bent, forming a right angle.
We fix the profile, having previously bent its sides, then grab and scald. Welds will need to be cleaned.
